till和ontill的区别

两者含义均为到…为止，都可作介词和连词，没有区别。

用法

1、用于肯定句时，主句的动作一般是延续性的，它表示的动作一直延续到till或until所表示的时间为止。

2、用于否定句时，主句的动作一般是终止性的，它所表示的动作直到till或until所表示的时间才发生。

It took time until the political situation had normalized.

政治局势过了很长时间才恢复正常。
