worry和worried的区别是worry既是名词，又是动词。
1、从时态方面讲，worried是worry的过去式，从主被动方面讲，worry是主动式，worried是被动式，动词的被动式是be+这个单词的过去形式，be worried about表示一个状态，而worry about表示一个动作，就像 determine to do sth和 be determined to do sth的用法一样。

2、worry的基本意思是使困扰，使烦恼，指不停地非难、刺激以致破坏某人平静的心境或使其感到绝望或受挫，强调企图或效果。worry也可表示担心，为什么发愁。worry可用作不及物动词，也可用作及物动词。用作及物动词时，接名词、代词、that/wh-从句作宾语，还可接以动词不定式或形容词充当补足语的复合宾语。
1.worry作动词用法
（1）worry about/over sb./sth.担心；担忧；发愁
Don't worry about me. I'll be all right.别为我担忧。我会没事的。
（2）worry sb./yourself（about sb./sth.）使担心；使担忧；使发愁
What worries me is how I am going to get another job.使我发愁的是如何再找到工作。
He's worried himself sick (= become extremely anxious) about his daughter.他的女儿可把他愁坏了。
（3）worry sb.（with sth.）骚扰；烦扰；使不安宁
The noise never seems to worry her.这噪音似乎从不让她厌烦。
2.worry作名词用法
（1）不可数名词 担心；忧虑；发愁
The threat of losing their jobs is a constant source of worry to them.丢掉工作的威胁时常使他们忧心忡忡。
（2）可数名词worry about/over sth.;worry for/to sb.令人担忧的事；让人发愁的事
Mugging is a real worry for many old people.行凶抢劫确实令许多老人心神不安。
3.worried作形容词用法
worried(about sb./sth.) ；worried(by sth.) ；worried(that…)担心的；担忧的；发愁的
（1）Don't look so worried!别这么愁眉苦脸的！
（2）I'm not worried about her─she can take care of herself.我不为她担心，她能照顾自己。
