When后面加do还是to do从句（when后面加is或do有什么区别）

when跟doing，不能跟to do和do，因为to do表示动作未来，when引导时间状语从句，时间状语从句没有将来时.

英语中，有一些连词可以采用省略形式，这些连词是

when/while， once/if/unless，though/although，

这些连词如果主语跟主句相同，并且含有be动词，那么就可以把从句的主语跟be动词省略，成为when/while，once/if/unless，though/although+doing/done/adj/介词短语，其中的doing/done根据主句主语确定

表示主语主动…/正在…，用doing，表示被动/状态就用done

例如：while walking the dog， he was careless and it got loose and was hit by a car.
